WISDOM IN THE WOODS
HARVEST MOON RETREAT
SEPTEMBER 12-14, 2025
Embrace the light and wisdom of the Full Harvest Moon during a reflective, relaxing and ____________weekend at Deep Creek, MD. This retreat offers a unique opportunity to align with the moon’s energy, reconnect with your inner self, and embrace the transition into fall with intention and clarity.
Why the Harvest Moon?
The Harvest Moon, closest to the autumn equinox, symbolizes abundance, completion, and reflection. Its bright, extended light guides us to pause, gather the fruits of our efforts, and release what no longer supports our journey. Much like yoga, it reminds us to balance effort with ease and to nurture the interplay of light and shadow within ourselves.

"Stand still. The trees ahead and bushes beside you
Are not lost. Wherever you are is called Here,
And you must treat it as a powerful stranger,
Must ask permission to know it and be known.
The forest breathes. Listen. It answers,
I have made this place around you.
If you leave it, you may come back again, saying Here.
No two trees are the same to Raven.
No two branches are the same to Wren.
If what a tree or a bush does is lost on you,
You are surely lost. Stand still. The forest knows
Where you are. You must let it find you."~David Wagoner
